Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

Who you are contracting with

d.AI, also called Design AI Academy ("d.AI", "we", "us"), is a service operated by d.MBA d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia. By joining d.AI you agree to these terms. d.AI is the continuation of AI Makers Club. Existing AI Makers Club memberships continue under these terms at their existing price.

What you get

A membership gives you access to the monthly brief, the resources and challenges published with it, the private community, and the guides and archive we publish while your membership is active. Each brief is built with a guest practitioner, who is available in the community during their month.

Subscription and payment

Membership is offered as a monthly subscription, and from time to time as a yearly subscription or a lifetime membership. The price and the plan are the ones shown on the join page at the time of purchase. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. A small number of legacy AI Makers Club memberships are still billed through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for those accounts. The payment processor's terms and privacy notice apply to the payment transaction.

Founding price

If you join during the founding offer, the monthly price you pay at signup stays the same for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later rejoin, the price shown on the join page at that time applies.

Credits and the certificate

Each accepted brief submission earns credits, as described on the join page. Credits are recorded against your account and do not expire, but you need an active membership to submit work. When you reach the number of credits shown on the join page, we issue you the d.AI certificate. The certificate is a credential issued by d.MBA d.o.o. that records the work you completed in the program. It is not an accredited academic degree. We may decline a submission that does not meet the brief or that is not your own work.

Cancellation

Monthly members can cancel at any time from the link in their billing email, or by emailing us at support@d.mba. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Yearly members commit to the full year: cancellation stops the renewal for the following year, and access continues to the end of the year already paid for. Lifetime members do not need to cancel. We do not pro rate refunds for a period already paid for. For the full position, including what happens to a lifetime membership if we stop running d.AI, see the refund policy.

Acceptable use

Your work

Anything you build during d.AI is yours. We do not claim ownership of your projects, files or output. If you share work in the community, other members can learn from it but may not republish it without your permission. By submitting work for credits you allow us to review it and, with your name, show it inside the community.

Guest and program content

Briefs, guides and recordings belong to d.MBA d.o.o. or to the guest practitioner who created them. Your membership gives you a personal, non transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

No warranty

d.AI is provided "as is". We do our best, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific learning or career outcomes, or that any tool we recommend will work for your project. Third party tools used in a brief are not included in the price and are governed by their own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Slovenia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the community at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued membership after that constitutes acceptance.
